"The
dancers body is simply the
luminous manifestation of their soul. This is the truly creative
dancer, natural but not imitative, speaking in movement out of self and
out of something greater than all selves"

Once
a month, the dance studio will host a supper dance which is open to
non-dancers who want to watch argentine tango and dancers who want to
dance socially and show off their skills. During the evening, Steve
will perform on the bandoneon and piano to bring the history of
argentine tango to life.
Supper will be a traditional Argentine hot snack - the empanada. These
are small parcels of meat, cheese or other content, baked in a light
pastry shell like a small pasty. There will be a choice of filling for
all diets and tastes, from meat or vegetarian to spicy & HOT! Steve
is gluten intolerent so there will be some rice flour empanadas as well!
The enrosque, (a corkscrew) is a cue for you to bring your own tipple
to accompany your supper. You may also be lucky enough to see the more
advanced dancers working a beautiful spiral movement called an
'enrosque' as they dance.
The evening is limited to 44 places is a ticket only catered event.
Bookings can be made by telephone or email or using your credit card
online using the form below. Tickets cost £15 per person.
